Mary, Brenda and Linda were sitting on a front porch in Atlanta, Georgia, on a hot Sunday afternoon, drinking liquor in tea cups. After a while, Mary said, "When I had my first baby, my husband got me a new car" Brenda said, "What a generous man he is!" Linda said, "Well, ain't that nice?"

They drank some more liquor in silence, then Brenda said, "When I had my first baby, my husband got me a new house" Mary said, "That's such a beautiful gesture!" Linda said, "Well, ain't that nice?"

They had some more liquor and Mary asked Linda, "What'd you get when you had your first baby!" Linda said, "When I had my first baby, my husband sent me off to Charm School in another country." Mary said, "Charm School?" At the same time, Brenda asked, "Did you find that helpful?" Linda said "Very much so, I used to just say 'Fuck you', Now I say, 'Well, ain't that nice?"
